Krista Larson's hangtags feature all of her dogs that she has had
throughout the years.  They have all been an integral part
of the business, by endowing the hangtag as well as the
facility on a daily basis. Below is a short bio for each
one of her four legged "kids".

Big Girl

Big Girl

My first venture into the canine crowd was with Big Girl.  A female blue merle Great Dane.  Oh so pretty and just a special girl.  She was a person in a dog's body, perceptive, loving, and weary of strangers.  Two battles with cancer, three legs and she still lived to be ten years old.  The best dog ever!

Boon

Boon

My second dog. A male Great Dane/Newfoundland mix. He was the runt of the litter and topped off the scales at 160. What a sweet boy. He looked like a giant black lab.

My third dog. A male harlequin Great Dane. He had the markings of a cow.......hence the name. He was a giant puppy until he died at age twelve. He just wanted to be on your lap. I think he had a body image disorder, he thought he was small. At his heaviest, he was about 170 pounds. He could have lived forever, and will always be in my heart.

Polly

Boon

My fourth dog. A female blue Great Dane. She was dainty and gorgeous. The Blue Polly website is named after her, www.bluepolly.com. She was the first heartache that I faced when she died at two years old following an unfortunate accident.

Raisin

Raisin

My fifth dog. A female Weimaraner. A venture into another breed. She was named Raisin for her coloring but really should have been for "rais'in" hell. She had so much energy and was always right in the mix with the big boys. A beautiful "little" girl at 85 lbs, she was the runt of my litter but not in attitude. She was my shadow, attached to me at the hip and is greatly missed.

Will

Raisin

My sixth dog. A male Great Pyrenees. Hmmmmmm what can I say about "Will"? The name says it all. He's got a tremendous "will"....... to do whatever he pleases. He's a fluffy love ball with his pack (that's people and dogs he knows), but outside the pack, watch out. He looks like he weighs about 150, but it's all fur at 115 lbs. He's Raisin's main "man" as the last two in the pack. Friends for life. He's ten years old and could live another ten.
